Percy's Story...
Meet Percy! He was found with this mom and siblings and living in an alley by a restaurant. He is under a year old. Percy loves to play with other kittens and an adult cat. He loves cat toys and is really affectionate and a purr machine. He is absolutely beautiful and has shiny black fur. Percy loves the top of the cat tree and is a wonderful cuddler. He could sit in your lap all day with his brother Pierre.

He also enjoys play time and doing all the silly kitty antics that kittens do! His brother is Peirre who is also available.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Percy, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
