Facts about Blush

  • Breed: Boxer
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Blush is calm, quiet and loving. She has a fawn coat with white toes; toes that will follow you anywhere you go. Blush is 6 or 7 years old and still has bursts of Boxer exuberance, but mostly she likes to be near her people. She had a lump removed from her leg, as many Boxers do, and her prognosis is good. She is healthy and heartworm negative.

Blush lives with a 6 year old kid and a variety of Boxers from old to young. She gets along well with respectful dogs, but not with ones who want to be “in her face.” Blush is very good with her skin kid and loves to play with one of the well balanced male Boxers. She is of course house and crate trained and is a joy on her daily walk. She doesn’t need a lot of exercise so a daily walk works well for her.

Blush is not comfortable with high energy, busy environments and prefers a more low key setting. Busy kids and busy dogs are not her style. She takes direction from her foster mom very well, even waiting for the OK to come back into the house. She is loving and sweet and would do OK as an only dog or with a more submissive male. Blush would make a great companion for someone who prefers life at a more moderate pace.
