If you are interested; please complete an adoption application at www.pawsitivelyfurever.org in order to be approved for meet and greet. There is a $25 dollar non-refundable deposit required if approved. Once you attend the meet and greet, if you decide to bring the dog home it will be reduced from the adoption fee. We are doing this due to many people who have been approved and scheduled meet and greet have not shown up or called the rescue to advise of another adoption. The deposit would be considered a donation in order to save others.
Adoption fee is $425, includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter if of age.

My name is Bella. I was found in the park with my siblings in a garbage can as tiny puppies. A nice lady took us in and raise us to be the best pups ever. I will have 2 of his/her parvo shots. Will need rabies at 3 months and 3rd parvo shot. He is not spayed due to age. The rescue does belong to the NJ low cost spay and neuter program. The co-pay is $20 for spay/neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Saddle Brook Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Saddle Brook, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Saddle Brook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saddle Brook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saddle Brook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saddle Brook paves the way for another one to be saved.
