Paris's Story...
Hi! My name is Paris. I am named after the "City of Love" since I am a big love bug! My favorite place in the house is on my person's lap cuddled with them on the couch. Most of the time I will have a tennis ball with me since that is my most favorite toy. Just toss the ball and watch me chase it down! Then I will run back to you because I like to be with my person. I haven't had one accident in my foster home, but I am kept on a very good schedule so I know when I need to go outside. I prefer not to go in my crate, but I will rest quietly in there until you allow me to escape. I just want to be with my person and my tennis ball. That is what makes me happy. Can I make your life happier with me in it? If so, email info@habitat4paws.org for more on how adopting me can make us both happy!

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paris, a McKinney Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
