I'm Lucas! I am a very sweet and affectionate hound who would love to find a home of my own. I am well behaved and eager to please. I am pretty laid back and quiet but do enjoy playing and running in the yard. Although naps are a favorite of mine! I am a great cuddler and enjoy sleeping in bed with you! Everyone that meets me really seems to like me! I'm said to be a bit of a lady's man out on walks around town! I am kind of a love bug :) I am potty trained but have not spent much time in a crate so I may get a little nervous at first. Since I am a hound and we are known to follow our noses, it is probably best I find a home with a fully fenced yard so I can safely explore and chase as many squirrels as my heart desires. My foster dad has been working with me on my leash skills. He says I'm getting better. He takes me running and I enjoy that! I am a great passenger for car rides, but will get car sick sometimes. I am good with other dogs but cats are a no for me.
I am so thankful to be alive, as I was scheduled to be euthanized the day Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue pulled me from the shelter.
Please consider giving me a kind loving home.
Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for $19.99 fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
