Hi, My name is Darla and I was a ballerina in a previous life. I do twirls and spins when I'm happy and when it is time to eat. I like to lie outside by the shade tree for a few minutes. I'm about 10 years old and I need my beauty sleep. In between naps I like playing tug-of-war with the other Boston's my foster mom's house and with the big Boxer boy who is nice to me. My foster mom says I am a little peanut because I only weigh 13 lbs. I have some skin allergy issues that I'm on medication for but the Dr. says eventually my hair will grow back.
My eyes are cloudy but I can see enough so that I can hop up on the couch and find the best spot on my foster mom's lap so I can snuggle. I do snore a bit but she says it's pretty quiet. Unfortunately I am heartworm positive and because of my age, the Dr. said that a conservative approach is best so I am on monthly medication until the nasty worms go away. I am looking for a home with a family to love. Maybe that's you? Let's meet and see. Because Darla is a senior her adoption fee is just $50 and she qualifies for our Senior for Seniors program which gives senior dogs to senior citizens at little or no cost.
