Oliver is a gorgeous, purebred, tri-color Cocker Spaniel who has lived his whole life with his brother Dante.  They are a bonded pair so these lovable, gentle dogs must be adopted together. They are 9-year-old, laidback sweethearts who are mellow, eager-to-please and very family friendly.  They were very loved by their former owners, but need to be re-homed because of family members’ allergies.  Oliver and Dante have cheerful dispositions and get along well with children, cats and other dogs.  Not only are they lovers and kissers, but they also enjoy cozying up at the feet of their humans. They are not at all aggressive and, although they are typically quiet, they do bark at strangers and are somewhat nervous until they get to know people.   Oliver and Dante are both playful and enjoy romping in the backyard and playing fetch.  They are housebroken and are content to sleep in their crates.  Both dogs have a thyroid condition which requires daily Synthroid medication.  They also both have seasonal allergies to grass and evergreen bushes so they take Benadryl, when needed.

Oliver and Dante qualify for our Seniors for Seniors discount if their adopter is at least age 65.

The suggested donation amount for Oliver and Dante together is $450, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue.  To fill out an application, please visit the following web address:!adopt-a-pet/c7cy The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. About Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, Inc. is a not for profit organization formed in 2014 by a small group of devoted animal lovers, in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area, with many years of rescue experience wanting to make a difference in the lives of dogs. Our rescue focuses on small breed dogs, less than 35 pounds, of any age. It is all volunteer based, and all of our rescue dogs are living in the homes of our volunteers.
Our rescue is unique in that we offer supportive services, such as education and training, to owners considering relinquishing their pet in an effort to try to keep the dog in their home whenever possible. We also educate and offer placement assistance to owners attempting to rehome their pets through social media sites, which can often be risky for the pets as well as the owners.
