My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MISS LUCY is a very nice dog. she had to be rehomed due to family changes. she is about 4 years old. we have decided that she should be in a home with older kids, as she can be somewhat protective with strangers who come into the home. she is mellow and well trained. she likes being outside. cats unsure. if you want to adopt or foster lucy, please contact janet, soulymainepetsrescue@comcast.net. her adoption fee is 325. thanks so much.. UPDATE: upon coming home, she does not rush to the door to see you. ) came home, and she watched me enter the house from the top of the stairs, then came down with her little tail wagging, to say "hi"...She pounces with both paws, in the low-blueberry bush/tall grasses, to catch shrews/mice. She enjoys window viewing/smelling outside. Mellowest dog ever!
Fine with Kitty, they just pass each other.(I did proper intro first). Gives paw to go outside, or rub her belly.


UPDATE FROM PRESENT FOSTER HOME... Lucy is the only foster dog that has allowed one to walk, while carrying your coffee--without spilling it :)....She sided with me and Quinten when my elbow bumped the wall...she barked toward the outside, and came to us to guard us. Mellowing with Kitty. Good Girl--She gives paw when she needs to relieve herself :)....loves butt scratch/massage of hips
