MEET ALFIE!! Alfie is an amazing, happy goofball who loves to run and play but also enjoys a good belly rub!! He gives great kisses and cuddles.

Alfie is good with kids, but they should be older due to his size, strength, and desire to play. He will do best in an active home. He's also a big snuggler and would love to be a lap/couch/bed dog! Unfortunately, Alfie is a bit jealous with other dogs, so he will need to be the only canine in the home. He has not yet been cat-tested.

He has already started basic obedience training and will do great with an adopter who is willing to continue his training, as he is SUPER smart and is eager to please. He learns quickly and loves to learn new tricks.

Alfie is currently in a boarding situation, and would very much love to have a Foster Home. If you are willing to foster OR adopt, please email Underdog.

For more information or to meet Alfie, please complete an application or send email to info@underdogaz.com

About Underdog Rescue of Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
