  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10474600
  • Hair: Long

UPDATE: We believe Miss Moppett to be visually impaired, if not blind, based on her behavior - bumping into objects and other cats, not moving her eyes to moving objects in front of her.

Miss Moppett is a beautiful, long-haired black and white female,  about 2 years old. She had the misfortune to be living under a home on West Street with her older kittens. The owner was not a cat-lover and decided he was going to seal up the opening under the home, whether Miss Moppett and her family were there or not.

I came to get Miss Moppett and she is now living happily in her foster home. Her socialization skills are coming along nicely. She is interested in people and is becoming comfortable with her foster mom being near to her. On the socialization scale of 1-10, 10 being a regular house cat, she currently rates a 5.

Miss Moppett is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She gets along very well with other cats and requires an indoor only, quiet, low activity home. Once in a quiet home, she will blossom into an awesome house cat.

Please contact Lynn at GoodMews22@aol.com or call 540-825-3744 if interested in this fairy tale kitty. Adoption fee $25.

About Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $25 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.
