Facts about Catarina

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 10474662
  • Hair: Short

Meet Catarina, a 2 year old, female, black and white tuxedo. Catarina and her sibling, Benjamin (sister Camille has been adopted) were found during the hot summer of 2014 in an apt. parking lot as young kittens with their mom, Bonnie. Poor Bonnie was nursing them right there on the incredibly hot pavement. The little family were fed scraps by the tenants who took pity on them, but the family remained elusive.

When a kitten, Catarina was by far the most headstrong of the trio, probably due to fear, but now she is very interested in people, puts her nose to your hand, and greets you at the door. With more socialization, she will blossom into a wonderful house cat. Catarina currently rates a 6-7/10 on our socialization scale, with 10 being a purrfect house cat.

Catarina is extremely bonded with Benjamin and mom, Bonnie (both also posted). They can always be found together, grooming each other, playing together, sleeping together. Therefore, Catarina needs to be adopted with at least Benjamin. A HUGE discount will apply for adopting all 3.

Catarina will need a quiet, low activity home with older children and must be adopted with Benjamin. Catarina is spayed, up to date on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia, and 540-825-3744 GoodMews22@aol.com.

About Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

About Our Rescue Group...

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process requires you filling out an approved adoption application, meeting your future family member, and signing a contract. Fees vary depending on the cat - their socialibility, age, and how long they have been looking for their furrever home. Fees range from $25 to $65. All cats are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia tested negative, and have had their first set of vaccines.
