Wasabi's Story...
My name is Wasabi, and just like my name, I am full of flavor! I am known as the silly cat at my foster home. I have grown up at my foster home with my sister Delilah after we were found wandering a school. Where should I start? I am such a character. I have a beautiful black and white coat with three white legs and one black. My black leg looks like I have a white zipper running up the back! My foster family always comments on how long my legs are in proportion to my body. They call me 'Miss Mommy Long Legs' because they are so lanky. But they always tell me it is adorable! I am a super hyper cat. I love to run up and down the hallway and play with toys and my sister. I LOVE to play with receipts! Whether they are left on the ground or somehow run out of your purse, I am there to play with them! I also love to chase my tail. A cute quirk about me is something you will see at bedtime. I cannot fall asleep unless I nurse/suck on my own stomach! You can tell I am doing this when I am curled up in a ball and purring up a storm. It helps me fall asleep fast! My foster mom thinks it is funny. You can also hear my purr if you pick me up and pet me from the top of my head to the tip of my tail. I love it!
Please consider adding me and my quirky personality to your family. I will be a great addition and keep you entertained for hours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wasabi, a Rocklin Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rocklin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rocklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rocklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rocklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rocklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
