Facts about Chatter
Breed: Domestic Longhair
Color: Orange Or Red
Greetings, my name is Chatter and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a male, long-haired orange Tabby born about 6 to 7 weeks ago. I was living in a shed and was very happy with my mom and brother. A lady was feeding my mom but decided that it was time to fix her (by the way, I didn’t even know she was broken). Anyway, when my mom came back, she couldn’t feed me anymore. I was only 3 weeks old then and was becoming very hungry. Another lady came by to talk about the cat problem (I know they weren’t talking about me because I am purrrfect). This lady saw that my brother and I needed special attention and took us away. I was very frightened but this lady took time to feed me, almost like my mommy did. Now I am very healthy and happy again with a full tummy because I can eat all by myself now. I am FIV and leukemia negative. When I have finished with my vaccinations, I will be ready to go home with a new family of my very own. These are the things I do not like: ladies that fix my mommy, dog breath (dogs are ok but they kind of stink) and people that pull my tail. Things that I do like: cuddles, playing, climbing, cats, dogs with sweet smelling breath, my foster family (mom, dad, and two little girls), kibbles, living inside and a clean litter box. There are lots of other things that I like but those are really important. If you think we will get a long for my entire life, if you can love me and hold me until my very last breath, please call my SAVE Rescue Coalition foster mommy. She really likes to talk about me (it’s kind of embarrassing, but she does love me a lot).
S.A.V.E. Rescue Coalition works to promote adoption through new adoption events, more public exposure of pets for adoption, and help the public make a good match with an adoptable animal. Rescue groups work very hard to save animals every day, often using their own money, sacrificing time with family etc. We have animals from shelters and the streets of Houston that are now adoptable pets and we area helping these animals find permanent, loving homes. We are all volunteer and no funds are spent for salaries, benefits etc. All money goes directly to the rescue group or their animals.

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption fee range from $150-200 for dogs and $75-100 for cats and each animal is altered, microchipped and current on all vaccinations. You will be required to complete an application for your selected pet. You can do so at www.saverescue.org/adoptionapplication. Processing may take up to 3 days. The application will include previous pet experience and vet info, how you will house your new pet and a little about your lifestyle so that we can be sure your pet will mesh with your family's activity level. We want you to have a permanent family member so we will take great care to assure that you find a suitable companion.
