Milo is a pure bred Yorkie about 7 years old and around 5-6 lbs. He came to us when we found him posted by a family wanting to give him away on Facebook. Since we got him he has been neutered, microchipped, given all his vaccinations, including Rabies, bordatella and parvo/distemper. He was tested and is negative for Heartworms. He is on heartworm and flea prevention. Milo is good with people and loves kids. Since we have had him he hasn't been around cats so we can't say for sure what to expect, however he is good with other dogs. He is crate trained but we're still working on house training. It isn't bad but will go in house if he goes to back door & you don't let him out immediately. Milo is very sweet, lovable & loves to snuggle & be in your lap. He also loves to go on car rides too. About Fur-Giving Hearts Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a nonprofit 501C3 organization dedicated to helping neglected and distressed cats and dogs and getting them the help they need. Saving animals and finding them the help they need and placing them in a loving home is so rewarding to us. We are not selective in which animals we rescue. They all deserve a chance no matter their color, breed or condition. We know that we cant save them all, but our thinking is "Why not try?"

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have regularly planned adoption events. Like us on Facebook to see posts for events planned.

Our Adoption Process...

Unless there is an out of state adoption, our adoption fee is $200.00. If out of state the adopter would pay for a health certificate to travel across state lines. Usually this is around $20.00 in addition to the adoption fee.

There is an adoption application we require to be filled out and approved first. We check a vaccination history and heartworm prevention history by calling the veterinarian listed on the application.
There is a home visit prior to adoption. Some times this isn't possible because of the distance and in that case we make other arrangements.
We also require a meet and greet
