Our Adoption Process...
Requirements-Completed application/home check Fees- Animals already spayed or neutered Cats- $25.00 Dogs-$25.00 Fees-Animals we had to spay/neuter Cats-$50.00 Dogs- $75.00 May be an additional charge for large dogs. If a female dog is determined to already have been spayed by our vet, the fee will be $50.00. Animals that are too young to be spayed or neutered will require a $50.00 deposit for a total of $75.00. The deposit will be refunded or used to pay the bill for the surgery. We must see where the pet will live. Adoption Application and Contract are required. The adopter must provide a vet reference and a home check must be done. A background check will be run in order to adopt an animal. If you have a military, school or other government ID that would indicate a no felony or security clearance job you are eligible for a same day adoption. The adoption fee may be waived if the pet is sponsored, otherwise the fee will vary depending on the type of pet that is being adopted, up to the amount of $150.00. This will include vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming. We do offer reduced fees to Senior Citizens (60 and older) along with other benefits for them as adopters. Please note that this is an all volunteer organization, most of us have other jobs and we may not be able to call you back immediately.

You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
