Margarita Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix 1 yr old-7 lbs

Meet Margarita:She was rescued from the streets of TJ about to be run over on a very busy road. Open Arms Rescue was driving by and was lucky to scoop her up and rush her to the vet. She was examined, tested and stayed there for a while until we could bring her to San Diego and put her into a foster home. She is super playful, loves toys and balls and a total people dog. Would be good w/an active family and kids. She is just a love!

Our adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Please call 760-470-7643 Or email us at openarmsrescue@hotmail.com or stop by our website and fill out an online application at www.openarmsrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margarita, a Imperial Beach Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Imperial Beach, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Imperial Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Imperial Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Imperial Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Imperial Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
