Daniel Stray Lewis's Story...
Daniel Stray Lewis is a 2 1/2 year old terrier mix, neglected by former owner, kept in backyard alone with no human interaction. When groomed, he must have shed about 5 lbs of matted unkept fur. He is a bit shy at first, but longs to be in a loving home with lots of cuddles in his future! He is GREAT with leash walking, friendly with other dogs, and loves children. He would be a great companion for an individual or family. He is PERFECT!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daniel Stray Lewis, a Los Angeles Silky Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Silky Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
