Lola (Courtesy Listing)'s Story...
(Lola is not a CHEW Dog Rescue dog and we haven't met her. Please contact her owner whose contact information is at the bottom of her description)
This is Lola. She is a sweet loyal dog with lots of energy. She’s a husky mix who is about 7 years old. She is in good general health and has had a recent check-up. She is up to date on her vaccines, is spayed and has had regular flea and tick control medication. Lola is currently in a home with children, a cat and another dog. She does well with most animals she is comfortable with, but her rough style of play and tendency to chase small creatures make her best suited for a home without cats or smaller dogs. And she will do best in a family without very young children as she tends to get excited easily and doesn’t always watch out for little ones. Lola needs a companion and gets nervous about being left alone so would do well with someone who isn’t often away from home regularly for several hours. She She loves to be outside with a companion to garden, hike, or camp. Lola is eager to please and has responded well to the training her owner has been able to do with her and would excel with someone who had the time and patience to work with her. Please email or call Lola’s owner, Rebecca for more information about her: rlwright16@hotmail.com 860 235-1354

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola (Courtesy Listing), a Gig Harbor Husky/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Golden Retriever for sale in Gig Harbor, or seeking a Husky/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Gig Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gig Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gig Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gig Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
