This description of a Nebelung cat fits Piper perfectly: 'This is a mild-tempered, soft-spoken cat that will rarely give you sleepless nights. Affectionate and playful, the Nebelung showers love upon its housemates but won’t interfere in every aspect of your life. The cat, however, is shy around strangers and may even hide under the bed to avoid facing them. Overall, it makes for a devoted and loyal companion.'
We believe this little beauty to be a Nebelung based on her temperament but she could also be a long haired Russian Blue, or a mix of the two. Her fur is a luxurious, silky texture. Piper is indeed shy but once she gets to know you she'll be your best friend. Piper loves lying next to her person but not in the lap.
She does not like cats or dogs!
She will do best in a calm household. Children should be 8 or older and be respectful to cats. As beautiful and as sweet as Piper is she does not like to be manhandled and does not like to play dress up.
Piper is a large girl and is declawed. Piper is house trained, spayed and up to date on her shots.
ADOPTION INFO: Piper will be adopted into an inside forever home only. References, vet check and a home visit is required. Her adoption donation of $100 will be used to help other abandoned cats like Piper.
