Spike's Story...
Hi there, my name is Spike!!! I am kitty tested....and doggy approved!!! I love to play. You will find yourself entertained by my ninja kitty moves! After all of that play...you will find me curdled upon you!!!---just in time for the fall!!! I love my humans and I am a snuggle bug!! My adoption fee is $100 and that covers all my vaccinations, dewormer, tested negative for FeLV and FIV,and neutering. Currently I am in a foster home and will not be fixed till I am 13 weeks of age and will not be officially released for adoption. However, my Case Manager will allow "foster to adopt" which you will foster me until I can become your Permanent fur baby until I am sterilized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a Mayflower Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mayflower, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mayflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mayflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mayflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mayflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
