Do you want someone to take long walks in the park with? Then take a walk with Boone, because he's leash trained and will go anywhere you want as fast or as slow as you feel like going. Are you looking for a running companion or someone to help you train for a marathon? Boone thinks running every day could be one of his favorite pastimes. Do you like agility and dock diving? This boy thinks swimming is great, and hes got some stylish moves, so he is thinking that competing with his best friend would be something he'd like to try. Is your yard over run by those pesky squirrels? Not to worry, Boone is on task, your yard will be squirrelfree in no time, guaranteed. Do you have squeaky toys that need to be destroyed, balls that need to be chased, pools that need to be splashed in, AND you happen to be looking for a big, gorgeous, furry fellow to help you accomplish these tasks every day? Then Boone is definitely your guy. At the end of the day, are you looking for someone to snuggle with on the couch while you watch movies or read a good book? Then look no further, cause this big clown is as 'Velcro' as they come. He loves to play and wants nothing more than to be with his person. He is very boisterous, so he would be better suited for older kids so he doesn't knock anyone down during play time. He loves to chase and he plays rough, so very small dogs will probably not like him. And he thinks cats are giant squirrels, so hes better off without having one to 'Tree'. Also, if you are an urban chicken farmer for lets your chickens run free, Boone is NOT the dog for you.  But, Boone is housebroken, does well in his crate, sits on command and is working on lie down and stay. Boone will need some obedience training, but that is just one more way to bond with this awesome guy. He wants to please his person, and tries really hard to be a good boy. And I guarantee that Boone will make you laugh every day. Boone is located in Sarasota Florida

About Ewenity Farm Herding Dog Haven

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one on one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are a highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since all rescue dogs live in our homes with us or in foster homes, you will need to travel to meet any dog you might want to adopt.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog.

Our Adoption Process...

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application. When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We conduct home visits. There is an adoption fee that is usually around $250 per dog to cover any expenses we have incurred. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.
