Captain's Story...
Disclaimer*Camera did not add 10 pounds* These two long haired handsome boys are our largest residents, weighting in around 15-20 pounds. Don't let their size fool you though these boy's are love bugs! They are around 6 years old and were surrendered togehter at no fault of their own. We have been told they are good with kids and lived with dogs. Captain can be a little aloof with cats but he does do well with them. He just needs a little time to warm up them. Both Captain and Moo Moo are up to date on shots, rabies and Neuter. Interested in making Captain and Moo Moo a member of your family, please give us a call 757-365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain, a Windsor Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Windsor, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
