Callie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Callie's Story...
Callie is a 1-year-old spayed Lab mix who is looking for a family to love her forever. She's a sweet girl who's a little shy at first and would do well with a family that has at least 1 social dog to help improve her confidence.

Callie is house & crate trained, knows basic commands (sit, wait, and leave it), and walks wonderful on leash. She also plays wonderfully with other dogs.

We working on building Callie's confidence with humans and she's shown great improvement but, since she is still shy, we don't recommend placement in a home with children under 16.

If you're a patient person looking for a playful companion for your dog, Callie may be a great fit for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Kimberton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
