Belle's Story...
DOB: November of 2015.
Adoption fee: $100.00
Arrived in August of 2016.

Belle is a female Border Collie/Husky mix. She is vocal like a husky, and has the untamed energy of both Border Collie and Husky. She is sweet, but needs training. She will require a physically fenced-in yard. She would do best with children over the age of 10 years. Pending a match-up she should do well with other dogs and trainable with cats. She is a diamond in the rough, but once out of the shetler environment she may settle in and make a very nice companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Belle, a Battle Creek Border Collie/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Husky for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Border Collie/Husky dog from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Husky breeders who help with Border Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
