ETHEL is an active and sweet dog. She's good with cats and kids and dogs. She loves car rides. She loves butterflies, bunnies, squirrels and deer and watches them all intently. She does very well in doggie daycare and enjoys having doggie guests to play with in the yard. She loves to hike. She is very intelligent and would enjoy starting agility classes or having some sort of activity/job. She's a little shy when visitors first come to the house and barks at them, but once she knows them she's great. She doesn't like busy noisy public places.  Ethel loves balls and has laser focus   She loves to be held, cradled like a baby-she just relaxes and enjoys; she is very affectionate.  She also likes to talk-  when she's done something fun she will likely tell you a lot about it-  very cute. She's a wonderful, affectionate dog! There's one caveat - sometimes in her sleep she leaks a little urine and for this we recommend having her sleep in a crate at night. Please contact Desert Paws DesertPawsNM@live.com  505-702-9396 Ethel is payed, utd with vaccines and microchipped.

About Desert Paws Inc. Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rural rescue, but we are the "missing link" for abandoned animals in our area. We are surrounded by poverty-stricken towns, reservations, and campgrounds where animals are periodically dumped, abandoned or worse. We rehab them, get them medical attention, spay/neuter/vaccinate them, get them into loving foster homes, and placed with forever families. When we have them ready for adoption, these are great sociable, house-trained pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

2-3 times per month we are at Teca Tu (Sambusco mall in Santa Fe). Other adoption dates in Santa Fe and Albuquerque as well

Our Adoption Process...
