My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nugget is a 2 year old lab/mastiff mix and is a BIG boy weighing in at 75 pounds. Nugget came to us when he was 5 months old. His previous "family" had left him behind when they moved out of their apartment. It was over a week before Nugget was discovered in a crate in the abandoned apartment. He was pretty malnourished too. Another tenant took him in but he quickly outgrew the 25 pound weight limit and that is when we took him in.

Nugget is an absolute goof who is completely unaware of his size. He is constantly tripping over his feet and you can't help but laugh at his silly demeanor. Nugget's two favorite past times are playing and eating. He is definitely a follower. He is a super smart boy and picks things up quickly, it is cute when you can see the wheels turning. :) After Nugget has had his daily play/exercise he calms down fairly easy.

Nugget needs to have an active home with at least one other dog (the more the merrier). He needs a fenced in yard that is at least 6 ft high, he can jump really high. No kitties for this guy. He would be best in a home with no children or older children as he is very clumsy and can easily knock a small child down unintentionally. He is crate trained and house broken, neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

Nugget is a sweet, goofy boy that deserves a happy forever. Could you be his forever home?
