MONTY's Story...
MONTY is a adorable 11lb terrier/Maltese mix, and a classic case of "someone's loss is someone else's gain!" Despite the fact he languished in the Downey shelter, Dogzhaus stepped in and not only saved this little boy, but his zest for life! Monty is said to be 10yrs, but due to his love of fetch, squeaky toys, kids and nonstop tail wagging and precious smile, he seems more a "puppy" than a "pop." So he might be about 6-8 years old. Unlike a puppy, Monty is a master on a leash, is already house/doggie door/crate trained, not to mention has oodles of compassion--he loves to curl up peacefully with you, and "sings" to ambulances. Monty seems like such a complete dog, but he doesn't have everything --he still needs a home.If you're interested in meeting him, please visit our website: www.dogzhaus.org and fill out the adoption application online. Once we receive your application, we will contact you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MONTY, a Glendale Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Glendale, or seeking a Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Maltese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
