Hi!  My name is Tilly and I am a Pekingese mix. I am 25lbs and full of kisses for you! I am a very pretty girl. I am very new to PNC. Please check back for updates. They will post more as they get to know me.

11/16/16- From the foster mom

Tilly loves to lie on the couch. She loves a pile of fluffy pillows or a blanket and will lay her head on them. Her favorite though is to have a human snuggle with her. I got rope toys with hooves on them and she loves working on them during the day. Always on the couch. She has started enjoying being outside more and will either explore the fenced area or do some crazy zoomie circles wanting someone to chase her. She has this adorable woo-woo-woo when you leave the fence or she is excited by whoever shows up here. She is ok with children. Especially if they are well behaved and share treats. She loves other dogs and loves to be near them. She has wanted to let them know she could be top dog but as soon as I let her know she wasn’t, she was ok with that. She is very gentle.

My adoption donation is $ 300 + Tax $ 20.63.

All dogs are current on core vaccines, spayed/neutered, heartworm tested and on preventative, micro-chipped and if recommended by a Vet, have had a dental cleaning and other treatment to get and keep them healthy while in the rescue’s care. All dogs are living in foster homes and house manners, including potty training and any behavioral issues are being worked on.  But we never say our dogs are 100% house- trained as when they transition to a new home there can be accidents while they adjust to a new environment and schedule.

PNC Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit and any and all donations over and above the adoption donation are tax deductible.  We have a large group of dogs in our Furever Foster program that acts as a foster based sanctuary for dogs not likely to be adopted.  The rescue keeps these dogs healthy, comfortable and on necessary medications with necessary treatments for life.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us via email, pncrescue@yahoo.com and remember we are all volunteers.  Your patience is appreciated!

About PNC Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

PNC Rescue is a small dog rescue organization made up of volunteers located throughout the Midwest area.

Our group is dedicated to the breeds of Pekingese and Japanese Chin, and our purpose is to rescue and rehabilitate abused, abandoned, neglected and surrendered dogs. These dogs are provided with the attention, care and medical treatment necessary including spaying/neutering, until a permanent home can be found.

Our organization consists of volunteers and relies on public donations to provide medical treatment for the dogs in our care. 100% of all donations go to the benefit of the animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Anyone interested in adopting one of our pets will need to fill out our online adoption application found at our website: www.pncmidwest.org.

We have a process in which we check references you have provided us on your application and perform a home visit. An approved adopter will then need to sign an adoption contract and provide us with full payment of the adoption fee. All dogs are spayed/neutered and are brought up-to-date on all their shots before they leave our care.

It is extremely rare, but if, after all our efforts and yours, an adoption doesn't work out we ask that the dog be returned to us and we confirm that we will take the dog back providing a cushion for both.
