Cleo's Story...
But you can call me Cleo.
I was lost and wandering the neighborhoods around Fort Smith.  It was one of the hottest summer days and I was so thirsty and hungry.  Everyone who saw me turned and looked the other way.  They told themselves I was not their problem.  Everyone felt that way except one wonderful lady named Candace.   She felt my pain, thirst, and hunger.   She picked me up, held me tight and loved me.  Then she brought me in where it was cool, gave me some fresh cold water and some great kitty food.  She could not keep me so she did the next best thing and brought me to the Blue Moon Cat Sanctuary.  But this is still only a short stop in my journey.  Next stop….your lap.   I have been spayed and am current with my rabies shot, FVRCP vaccination, flea treatment and de worming.  I am an outgoing and sweet young girl at about only 4 years of age.  Call 479-677-3021 or 479-312-6858.  My adoption fee is only $60.
Other cats?  I’m fine with them.
Dogs?  Probably not.
Children?  Older ones would be OK.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cleo, a Witter Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Witter, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Witter.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Witter already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Witter breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Witter paves the way for another one to be saved.
