I received very good care in my first foster home as I underwent treatment for heartworms, I didn’t always show my gratitude appropriately, though. I showed aggression on occasion. So I went to another home to see if a change in environment and dynamics would result in consistently good behavior. I’m happy that It did. I have been calm, comfortable, and cooperative ever since. I immediately joined the other dogs here on twice daily pack walks, which are beneficial for many reasons. We all respect personal boundaries, which contributes to a relaxed atmosphere. I totally avoid conflicts now. I would probably be happiest, though, as an only dog with a savvy benevolent leader, who will nurture my sweet nature. A quiet home with no children under age 12 would be best. I am past the puppy and adolescent stages. I am house and crate trained. I enjoy attention when it is offered, but I can doze nearby or play with toys by myself too. If you think we could be a good match, come to meet me in person.
