Sissy's Story...
Sissy is a very special dog. She came to us with her friend, Rebel, after being in a home for 12 years. Her owner had to go into a nursing home and could not keep her. They did not want them to be put down and there was no one left to take care of her. She is overweight but otherwise in good health. She needs a place to live the rest of her life. She is very calm and but is still full of spunk! She loves attention. If you would like more information on the special dog, please contact SCHS in Mountain View, Arkansas at 870-269-5200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Mountain View Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Mountain View, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Mountain View.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain View already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain View breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain View paves the way for another one to be saved.
