Zara's Story...
Born May 2015. I’m a gorgeous Hemingway Polydactyl with a smooth tuxedo coat and white stockings! In three words I am: caring, relaxed, and warmhearted. I enjoy lounging on a cat tower near a window to sunbathe and bird watch. I simply wish to remain comfortable during the day, so you are certainly welcome to spend time with and pet me as I lounge. My dear sister, Zia, is more extroverted than I am, so you’ll have the best of both personalities! Our favorite treat is catnip and we enjoy it in all varieties! We are very close and share everything with each other from towers and blankets to the love and affection we receive from people. We have an abundance of love to share if you’re willing to take us home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zara, a San Leon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Leon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Leon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Leon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Leon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Leon paves the way for another one to be saved.
