Bella, in Italian, means beautiful, and although this 4-month-old beauty is blind, she is no less beautiful. Saved from a local shelter, the loss of her sight unknown, what is known as that all remaining, non-functioning tissue must be surgically removed to prevent infection, and both sockets closed.
With her other senses compensating for her blindness, she easily navigates her way around her foster home -- including a long flight of stairs – and eagerly follows the “snaps” of her family’s fingers to find them. Adoring and affectionate, she loves to be cuddled and kissed, and will, once fully healed, need a calm and attentive forever home.
Won’t you please donate towards Bella’s eye surgery? Won’t you please set her on the road to recovery and to her ultimate loving destination?
Tax-deductible donations like yours enable us to save Bella and other animals in need.
