BROCK's Story...
Meet Brock.  Brock is a 10-12 months old male Border Collie.  He has a smooth coat, one blue eye and prick ears.  He is mostly black and white, however, there is some slight brown sabling on the side of his face, which technically makes him a tri-color.
Brock is well socialized with other dogs, and being such a young dog, he loves a good romp and plays hard.  He is very sweet natured, loves human attention.  We are working on his manners, he jumps, so he probably would not be a good dog around small children as he could be too rambunctious.  Brock walks decently on a leash, and will crate right up when you transport him.  Brock will require some obedience training.  He also will require a semi active lifestyle to help him burn off energy.  He most likely will settle down once he matures.  Brock is biddable and such be a cinch to train.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption application.  We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled.  The electronic application can be found on our website at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BROCK, a San Pedro Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in San Pedro, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in San Pedro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Pedro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Pedro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Pedro paves the way for another one to be saved.
