Bisquit is the kitten born to French Fry who was trapped at Bojangles parking lot in James City this past winter. Bojangles is a very independent active little girl who shares a foster home with her brother Bojangles and four other rescue kittens. She romps all day long when she is not taking a power nap. She could not be bothered making small talk with her foster mom at first but now loves to come up and get her fair share of love every chance she gets. One sweet busy little kitten who would easily worm her way into your heart. Please visit our website, to fill out an application today!

About Colonial Capital Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

The mission of Colonial Capital Humane Society is to rescue and relieve the suffering of abused, abandoned, and stray animals; provide for their care until forever homes can be found; and create greater public awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering and humane treatment of animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter is located at 1860 Old Airport Road in New Bern, NC. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, appointments are required to visit our available pets.

We have adopt-a-thons at PetSmart (Wal-Mart shopping center) in New Bern on most weekends.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption application is located on our website. Home visits will be made and vet references must be provided. There is an adoption fee on all animals that helps to offset the cost of veterinary care and spay/neuter of the animal. The basic adoption fee is $150 for cats and $200 for dogs. This fee may vary depending on the pet. Please contact for more information.
