Hi there, I'm Jenny! I'm a 2-year-old spayed female Yellow Lab mix. I weigh around 49 pounds, which is on the small side for a Lab. This means that I'm most likely not purebred, although I'm not quite sure what I'm mixed with. Any guesses? I suppose it doesn't really matter, because I'm one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet.
I've got a sunny disposition and an upbeat attitude. You'll rarely find me without a smile on my face! My tail is always wagging, too. What can I say? I'm a happy pup! I love going on walks, meeting new friends of all ages and sizes (adults, kids & fellow dogs), giving kisses and getting belly rubs. Oh, and I love water! The volunteers at the shelter let me play in a kiddie pool, and it was so much fun! I guess that's the Labrador in me.
I'm such an amazing dog, it's a shame I'm homeless. Ive actually been in the pound twice. The first time was back in April 2016, when I was brought in as a stray. I spent about a week there before a family decided to adopt me. Boy, was I excited to have a home! My family and I were getting along great and having tons of fun. I thought my fairy tale was complete.
But much to my dismay and for no fault of my own, I was returned to the shelter just five months later. You see, my family was moving and couldn't take me along with them. I was so bummed. I thought family is supposed to stick together, no matter what! Luckily for me, a volunteer at the shelter told CageFree about me as soon as they laid eyes on me, and I was on my way to their facility the very next day.
Dogs like me don't come around everyday. I'm gorgeous, sweet and outgoing, and I can't wait to shower you with affection. I'm the total package!
