Maybe, you’ve heard of me? I’m STARR, a one year old 20lb Beagle cross! I most recently appeared at the Air Canada Centre for Sia’s Dog Adoption Fair and let me tell you, there were lots of people who wanted to take their picture with me and I posed with every single one. My foster mom cannot believe I have not been snapped up by a forever family. She says that, for a celebrity who previously had a very sad life where I was abandoned at a shelter, I am one of the most well-adjusted dogs she has ever met. She says that I am “pure love and light.” She also says I bring joy to everyone who meets me –but isn’t that what a star(r) is supposed to do? As a budding celebrity, I am very concerned with my image. For instance, I would never go to the bathroom in my foster family’s house. I’m really not a diva though - I am very friendly and well-behaved and fun to be around. And I love everyone – kids, adults, other dogs – you name it! Even though I am absolutely enjoying this stop on my tour with my foster family (and they absolutely adore me), I am really lonely for my perfect forever family. I don’t ask for much. I love to play. I love to cuddle. I just want someone who will let me curl up on the couch with them and watch movies and also play with me outside.
