Hi! Thanks for giving me some attention! I'd like you to know that I've already been spayed or neutered. At Animal Friends, dogs and cats also leave fully up-to-date on shots and microchipped. All I need now is to find someone who will love me. Please ask to meet with an adoption counselor, so we can be properly introduced and talk about what kind of pet you're looking for. We can discuss whether you're looking for a lap pet or a social butterfly, an 'only pet' or a furry 'sibling' for kids or other animals. Best of all, by adopting from Animal Friends, you make it possible for them to rescue and care for another pet who truly needs help. So, what are you waiting for? Let's sit down together! *****************************************************

Pia is a beautiful calico who loves people! She was originally transferred to Animal Friends from another shelter at the beginning of this year. She was adopted shortly afterwards, but unfortunately had to be returned because her previous owner''s new landlord did not allow pets. Pia loves the home life and can''t wait to find a new forever home of her own! She is very friendly and playful, especially if you have some old Mardi gras beads lying around! Pia doesn''t like being alone at night and prefers to sleep in the same room (and bed, if lucky enough!) as her humans. She is vocal when she wants attention and purrs when content. Pia dutifully uses scratching posts and doesn''t bite - just licks!

Pia is FIV+ which simply means that she has a weaker immune system than other cats and might need more veterinary care than some. This does not stop her from living a healthy and normal lifestyle! She has lived with other cats with the same condition since her arrival to the shelter, so she gets along well with others. Stop by Animal Friends today to meet this wonderful cat!
