Fiona is fabulous! She is great with other dogs, children and even cats! Fiona has a wonderful temperament and enjoys sunbathing on her foster moms porch :)
From her foster mom.... Fiona is a sweet submissive girl who will absolutely love her new family. She is a happy girl, her tail wags constantly after she is given time to adjust to her new surroundings. It may take her a couple of days to break out of her shell and when she does you'll see how awesome she is! She has not had an accident in the house except once but she was still just adjusting to being out of the shelter.
Fiona is great with dogs and cats but prefers to be with me. She had shown a little food aggression so I just feed her by herself and have not had any issues at all! She just loves to be with me at all times. For the first few days I had her, she was sleeping in the crate at night, but now I just let her sleep in my room on a dog bed.
Fiona is a bit timid and does not like loud noises like thunderstorms or even when I'm disciplining my dogs so she will need someone who uses positive reinforcement training. She does not know basic commands so we are working on that. She has picked up "sit" fairly quickly. We'll also be working on leash manners...she does pull a little. She would do great in a more low key home...probably with someone who is home a lot or works from home.
Since Fiona occasionally has some mild food aggression, a home with older children would be best for her.
