MIDNIGHT is a 6 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 58 pounds. He is a very nice boy. He is a tripod, but he gets along just fine. He had an injury when he was younger and had to have his rear left leg amputated. Midnight is house trained and is used to free reign of the house. He knows the commands: sit, come, and kisses. Midnight enjoys having his ears scratched and he loves attention from his humans. He loves to explore outside and may enjoy a house with a yard. He is good with the dogs that he meets while on walks. Midnight comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities. Placement is limited to stand alone, single family homes in a suburban neighborhood or rural area. Midnight should go to a home with no cats. Midnight is nervous around small kids and is approved for kids 10 +.

Update: Midnight is so easy. He loves walks, naps, his canine foster brother Shadow and stuffed LambChop (we are now on #2) in this order I think. He has the run of the house and is not crated and is perfect at meal time patiently sitting or lying quietly and takes treats very gently. He has ventured upstairs a few times but prefers staying on the main level with the resident lab who is also a tri-pod. Midnight is good on a leash, but does get VERY excited when he sees a squirrel, so an easy walk harness is best for now. He loves his pack so a family that is home a lot or takes him along on their adventures and/or has another dog(s) would be ideal.

Update: Midnight is a tripod but that doesn't slow this boy down 1 bit. He has perfect house manners and doesn't need to be crated. He loves long walks, naps on the couch, his stuffy Lampchop, and foster brother Shadow. He also loves squirrels a little too much and should go to a home with no cats. He takes treats very gently and lays at the kitchen door patiently waiting at mealtime and would be a wonderful addition to any family. Come meet Midnight at the adoption day this Sunday!
