Daisy's Story...
Meet Daisy! Daisy is an approximately 6 months old Chihuahua mix who is 100% adorable! She is incredibly calm, quite and easygoing. Daisy loves to be held and cuddle with her brother, Duke. Since Daisy and Duke love each other so much, it would great if they were adopted together, but it is not a necessity. Daisy is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed when old enough, which is all included in her $300 adoption fee. If you are interested in adopting sweet Daisy, please fill out our online adoption application: https://www.theanimalpad.org/applications/adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a San Diego Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
