Roscoe's Story...
What a mush!!
Roscoe is a mushy lovabull sweetie who adores the people in his life and bonds to them very quickly. He is a deep stocky little soul who also is great with other dogs, big and small!! Roscoe used to live with children and was good with them, at this time as we get to know him we recommend him for kids 10+. Roscoe is just 1 year old. He lived in a home for his first year but they wanted to rehome him as he was just too much for them to handle with 4 small kids in the home. Roscoe is great in a crate and he is working on perfecting his house-training and he is doing great. Roscoe can be a little timid but just needs some confidence building and obedience training and we think he would be happiest in a home that includes another dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Huntington American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Huntington, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue.
