My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

RESCUED! WENT TO A LOVING RESCUE GROUP!
*UNIQUE*
#287-16
Female Pit Mix Breed
Date in: 7/16/16
**Already Spayed**

My name is Unique, and if you think I'm just like all the other pitties walking around, you are so wrong! Yeah I'm a blocky girl and I'm wiggly sometimes, but I've got this knowing look in my eyes that will make you stop and do a double take. Some dogs communicate with their mouths, and sure, I do that too, but I have found that my eyes work much better! When I first came to the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center I was caught in this legal mumbo jumbo and I spent week after week just sitting in a kennel without any exercise and very little interaction. It was a complete nightmare!! But now I've been moved up front to the "premium" kennels and I am living the life! I have my own bed, I can go outside whenever I want, and the volunteers take me for walks! I adore children and grew up in a home with toddlers, so I know how to behave with them. On the down side, I'm not supposed to go to a home with other animals. If you are interested in me and have other dogs, you will have to talk to the Warden to see if he will make an exception...but don't be mad if he says "No." In the meantime, I'll be here, living it up as much as possible!
