Precious is coming into Almost Home and will be looking for her home soon!!!
UPDATE! GIVEN ONE MORE WEEK!
Yes, she is still in the healing process but you may want to see her original condition. Precious is a fighter and so worthy of a wonderful loving forever home. I just got this pic from the shelter:
On borrowed time ... 'PRECIOUS' NEEDS RESCUE COMMITMENT TODAY, NOW - Tomorrow is too late. She is in Alabama, but only 4 hours from Knoxville and we can work on getting her transported. She is a beautiful light brindle hound with the most adorable dark muzzle and pretty eyes. She may have some bloodhound in her family tree. She has fought and won the battle with mange and her pattern is stunning (sorry my pics aren't doing her any justice). Contact the Cheaha Regional Humane Society in Anniston AL to sponsor, adopt or rescue this wonderful girl. PLEASE, I AM BEGGING!! The shelter is full to the rafters and reaching out for help. PLEASE call 256-241-3647 to offer assistance, to help sponsor, to adopt, to rescue... she needs our help NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Cheaha Humane has FORTY indoor kennels and FORTY outdoor kennels, all full. And that does NOT count the 'kitty city' or all the side areas for quarantine, babies, those recovering from mange and other maladies. They are begging for rescue help so they do not have to euth their adoptables.
They fully vet the animals for a very reasonable cost. 'Melissa' at the shelter and all the volunteers would be more than grateful for any help, and to see their animals go to rescues or forever homes. To get the RESCUE ball rolling, send your 501c3 via email to email@example.com.
To speak with Melissa at the shelter (they open at 10 central time, and close at 4:00), PLEASE call 256-241-3647. Pulling one dog may buy precious time for another. Cheaha Regional Humane Society is at 3605 Morrisville Rd, Anniston AL 36201-3938.
