Hi!  I'm Rusty and I'm on the hunt for the perfect family.  I'm hoping to find someone who is looking for an older gentleman like me (I'm 9ish).  Someone who will want to take me places or just hang out.  I love going to the dog park (I like all dogs), to the beach, hanging out in the yard...whatever you want to do, I'm up for it!  I had a rough start in life so I can be a bit timid at first.  Foster mom has tried to get me to talk about my past but I prefer to keep quiet.  In fact, she says I'm so quiet she's only ever heard me bark in my dreams.  I like all people of all sizes but due to so much change in my life, I am a bit of a nervous nelly so I probably wouldn't want to live in a house with small children.  I'm a quiet boy and am looking for a quiet home.  I'm good with foster mom's cat though so cats are a-okay!

I am crate trained but I don't need to crated when left alone.
I'm neutered, up to date on all my shots and heart worm negative and I totally rock my doggie Mowhawk!  I'm housebroken, good on leash and just very CALM.  Low maintenance I've been told.  My adoption fee is $200 but if you're a senior, we would qualify for a senior to senior adoption at $100!  So, if you like to be my new people, go ahead and fill out an application then you can contact Linda Norton at linda@springerlabs.com or Sandra Toal at sandratoal18@gmail.com.  I'm currently located in Coburg, Ontario (Canada) but NBRAN can transport me if needed....BUT since I am a nervous boy, my foster thinks it's best if my new family met me in person before they adopt me.

About Our Rescue Group...

National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network (NBRAN) is an alliance of dedicated Brittany rescue volunteers who share a deep love for the breed and who will work to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Brittanys in need, whether abandoned, lost, stray or surrendered to rescue for placement. We have a presence in 48 states and work through a network of state coordinators. We are committed in our endeavor to help them with all the resources we have available.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptions are all handled on line, but we also participate in local events depending on the time available and the volunteers in a particular city/area/

Our Adoption Process...

Adopters must complete an adoption application on line at www.nbran.org or contact a volunteer who can assist if computer access is not available. After the application is received, contact will be made by the state coordinator and a home visit/inspection will be scheduled. A check of the provided veterinarian reference(s) will also be done.

Once an adopter is approved, the state coordinator will send a contract and make arrangements for payment of the adoption fee of $350.00. We accept credit cards on line, PayPal or personal check. We also offer reduced fees for senior dogs and for senior adopters!
