Hiccup's Story...
Hiccup and his siblings, Marlin, Dory and Maleficent are 8 weeks old. Their mom Pretty Girl is also looking for a home.

Hiccup is a big suck and loves people. As soon as someone comes in he's over there with his little meow and he's trying to climb up on your lap for pets.

The kittens have all had first shots and been dewormed and are ready for adoption. They will be microchipped and spayed/neutered as part of their adoption fee as well.

Hiccup is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. The adoption donation is $165. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Please fill out our Adoption Form if you are interested. You can also reach us by email at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hiccup, a Cambridge Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
