Looking for the perfect family dog? Look no further!

Yogurt is about 6 years old and close to 60ibs, but don't let her size fool you, she's a gentle soul. When you first meet her, she can be a bit shy, but she truly blossoms given time. She was saved after being shot while wandering around her own yard in Georgia! But she holds no grudges and is an absolute love bug. She would do best in a home with another dog, as she loves to play and other dogs help give her confidence. Sh e is currently in foster with two male dogs, one of which is very alpha, and does incredibly well. She is also great with young kids, including her foster's 7-month-old twins. Yogurt's idea of a good time is being pet, giving kisses, and playing with her doggy pals. To top it off, she walks great on a leash and doesn't mind getting baths in the tub! She is truly a gem, just waiting for the perfect family to discover her.

Looking for the perfect family dog? Look no further! I'm Yogurt!!!

Wanna know about me? Well let's see. I am about 6 years old and close to 60 lbs, but don't let my size fool you, I'm a gentle soul. I admit, I can be a bit shy at first when you meet me, but once I feel comfortable I will love love love you!!!! Nice people saved me after someone shot me in my own yard in Georgia! Ouch! Im not holding any grudges and my foster mom says I am an absolute love bug. I'm a dog not a bug, but I don't wanna hurt her feelings.

I really want a sibling to play with. They make me feel safer and more confident. I'm really good with dogs. I have two foster doggie brothers and we all play all the time. Oh did I tell you I am amazing with kids!!! Well I am! I have two human foster siblings. They are babies but I LOVE them. My idea of a good time is being pet, giving kisses, and playing with my doggy pals. To top it off, I walk great on a leash and don't mind getting baths in the tub! Not to toot my own horn but TOOT TOOT! I'm the bees knees! I'm just waiting for the perfect family to find me? Is that you? Please apply for me and make my Holiday wishes come true!

About Second Chance Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small, individual, private rescue group dedicated to giving unwanted dogs and cats a second chance. Most of the animals we rescue are strays and or owner surrenders to high kill city shelters. Many of them have been pulled off “death row”. We are very passionate about what we do, we love and care for these animals unconditionally. Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.

Adoption process includes adoption application, phone interview and home visit. Vet references are checked!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a physical shelter, we place our rescues in foster homes or boarding facilities where they are socialized and nurtured back to health before we place them in their forever home. If you are interested in adopting a friend, kindly look at our available pet on this site.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption/Foster Application must be completed online via the link below.

Home visit is required along with Vet references. Our full list of fees have been listed on the adoption application. Our dogs come fully vetted and have to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
