Phoenix is an affectionate playful pup who has had a very rough start. He was found, abused after being dragged by heavy chains around his neck. Then chained under a bush in a park, abandoned and left for dead. Although his condition was incredibly severe, over time, he has healed, and is now ready for his forever home. Phoenix loves being with his humans and learns to love easily. He's good with most dogs, with proper introduction. Fetching balls, playing in a wad pool, but his most favorite thing is cuddling on the couch and being generally silly!. It's going to take time for Phoenix to be comfortable in public, but he does enjoy all car rides. He's afraid of the dark so he requires a night light, by his sleeping area. Phoenix deserves the best loving home in the world. If you have that love to give him, please let us know.. Phoenix is posted with one of his best friends, Prince. Prince is also available for adoption, he is a Siberian Husky. Prince has megaespophagus that is being managed very easily.
