Almond and Joy are sweet little Chihuahuas that were surrendered to the shelter when their owner could no longer care for them. These cute little dogs are extremely bonded and will be required to be adopted together. Almond and Joy are very timid with new people and tend to get a case of the growlies to scare people away. With a little time and patience they warm up to be silly, fun, affectionate and loving little girls. They may be able to live with children ages 12 and older who will go slow with them while they learn to trust. They may be able to live with a confident cat that won't run if chased. Any other dogs in the home will have to meet them to see if they can all get along. These girls may be small but they still need daily walks and plenty of playtime. They prefer not to be left home alone for long periods of time. Somebody who works from home or is retired would be perfect. If you are interested in Almond and Joy, please fill out an application at customer service to meet with them.
