Hi! My name is Meryl, and I'd love to go home with you today! I recently returned from a foster break and my foster had all good things to say about me. While I am sometimes stressed in the shelter, I really blossom in a home. I am playful and affectionate. I love to sit next to someone to be petted (hear me purr!). Being around people means a lot to me, and I love to sleep at the foot of someone's bed or on a bedroom chair at night. I am pretty quiet, so I won't wake you up at night. I like to be the only cat so that I am the only one getting the attention. My favorite toys are a feather and fuzzy ball. I really enjoyed helping my foster do yoga! I am also very good with my litterbox in the home. If you're interested in giving me a forever home, please speak with an adoption counselor in the lobby!

Our Adoption Process...

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
